SKELMERSDALE TOWN REGENERATION
J&P Road Surfacing carried out the surfacing of the extensive car park site for the new Lidl supermarket on Edge Lane in Liverpool in association with Caddick Construction.
The new store, which was Lidl’s 900th in the UK, opened its doors in January 2022 and features a 1,256m² sales area and a large number of parking spaces for both cars and bicycles, as well as pedestrian areas and crossings.
J&P carried out the surfacing work to our usual high standard to ensure a smooth, accessible, aesthetically pleasing finish. The clear line marking and organised parking layout ensure that traffic flows well, making it easy for customers to navigate and park their vehicles.
Throughout the project, we faced challenging adverse weather conditions due to it being winter; however, our team utilised their experience and expertise to overcome these challenges and deliver the project successfully, on time and on budget.
